I went outside & met the driver as he was getting out of the truck & he handed me the box containing the assortment of turtle food I had ordered Friday from Drs. Foster & Smith in Wisconsin. Good, fast, order processing & shipping.
By the time I unpacked the contents of the shipping carton & returned to the computer in the back room, the FedEx site was already confirming delivery at 8:48 A.M. Very efficient.
Back in the kitchen area, I found the empty shipping box was already the center of attention for Wobs & her Mother, Precious. [ANYTHING new added to the household, is always immediately investigated. The box on the floor, is a classic example.]
In only a matter of moments, Precious had hauled her chubby butt into the box. [In the photo, from the position of her head, it appears Wobs is about to jump up on the dinning room table ... a usual, good observation point for goings on in this area of the house.]
Precious quickly settled in & began enjoying the confines of the shipping box.
NOTE TO SELF: Two weeks ago, "YOU" spent $75 dollars for the "Kat Kondo", thinking the three cats would enjoy the texture & size & the individual spaces, where each cat could have their own "comfort areas". So far, only Wobs seems to visit the "Kondo" with any regularity. The other two cats have faithfully ignored it.
Next time, "Self" ... just get a bunch of boxes. They seem to like those best & it's a lot cheaper.
Boxes: Loved by cats and children alike.
